What is a donor disk and why is it needed?

Answer:

A donor is a hard disk or other digital storage device that is identical to a failed drive, from which we take the necessary elements (usually a head stack) for replace broken at failed drive. The donor is an expendable material, and it is impossible to assemble it into a workable state

Is it possible to recover deleted folders / files?

Answer:

Yes, possible in most cases. But the result will be good only if the computer was immediately power-down after losing the files. If the computer was working, the recovery result may be worse than expected. In case of loss, deletion of files or formatting of the disk, you must immediately turn off the computer and contact the specialists.

The recovered information is stored on our drives. You can check recovered data by using remote connection. After checking we can store the data to the new disk provided by the client or sent it over the Internet.

Will my drive work after replacing the heads?

No. Any operations inside the hard drive make it impossible to further use it. All that we do with the "patient" and "donor" is to extract your data to the maximum extent possible. Even if you simply open the hard drive cover and immediately close it - it will no longer be able to work properly. This is a technological restriction of hard drives.

Can you guarantee that you will restore the data?

Answer:

We guarantee that we will do maximum to successfully restore the data. It is often impossible to predict the result before the completion of the work. Most often, the disk comes to us with some degree of damage to the magnetic plates, and, therefore, full restoration is probably not always possible. We take payment for the work done only after demonstrating the result.
