What is a donor disk and why is it needed?

Is it possible to recover deleted folders / files?
Yes, possible in most cases. But the result will be good only if the computer was immediately power-down after losing the files. In case of loss, deletion of files or formatting of the disk, you must immediately turn off the computer and contact the specialists.
Does the price of data recovery depend on the amount of information?
The cost of the recovery service does not depend on the amount of data
Do your specialists work at home?
No, we have specialized equipment and customized software for our lab-quality and fast recovery.
How can I get the recovered data?
The recovered information is stored on our drives. You can check recovered data by using remote connection. After checking we can store the data to the new disk provided by the client or sent it over the Internet.
Will my drive work after replacing the heads?
No. Any operations inside the hard drive make it impossible to further use it. All that we do with the "patient" and "donor" is to extract your data to the maximum extent possible. Even if you simply open the hard drive cover and immediately close it - it will no longer be able to work properly. This is a technological restriction of hard drives.
Can you guarantee that you will restore the data?
We guarantee that we will do maximum to successfully restore the data. It is often impossible to predict the result before the completion of the work. Most often, the disk comes to us with some degree of damage to the magnetic plates, and, therefore, full restoration is probably not always possible. We take payment for the work done only after demonstrating the result.
How much does the diagnostics cost?
From the very beginning of the company, the diagnosis was, is and will remain free.
Why is the recovery work from the disk, from where already someone tried to restore the data, is more expensive?
Because attempts of unqualified repair worsen the condition of the drive and complicate the process of recovery.
